Hi, Im Beth Robitaille from St Catharines and I love making books! I first learned how to bind books when studying at OCAD in Toronto and taught myself the rest. I love using different papers from around the world, even mixing where the paper is from with a stitch that originates from a different part of the world, signifying harmony between different people and areas of the globe. Still looking to expand my knowledge of bookbinding, I continue to enjoy binding in different styles with different materials.

Being a native adoptee, Crystal's parents had always tried to incorporate elements of her culture during her upbringing. A woman named Alice approached her mother and opened the doors to having Crystal learn how to bead. She first learned the daisy chain and brick stitch. At a young age, she beaded and made gifts for her family and friends. Seven years ago, Crystal stumbled on a local bead store, her creativity soared from there.
